NEW ELIQUID TAX RATES for 2024

Hey folks, we hope you are doing well!
We just wanted to reach out and prepare everyone for the upcoming E-Liquid Excise Tax Increase.
Currently the Excise tax has been Federal, but as of July 1st there has been a 12% increase on the current excise tax, as well as a new layer of Provincial Tax, now effectively more than doubling the current tax rate.
There is a transition / sell-off period from July 1st till Sept 31st. Meaning all e-liquid products on the shelf must carry both taxes (Federal & Provincial) by October 1st! Some manufacturers are already starting to run out of "cheap" stock (federal tax only) so we expect to see some double taxed items on the shelf by mid August.
Here is a quick break down of the tax rates based on popular product sizes.

| 60mL E-Liquid | $10.00 | $22.40 |
| 100mL E-Liquid | $14.00 | $31.36 |
So for quick example a 60mL E-Liquid that was normally $34.99 will now cost $47.39 before HST.
